Artist bio

Teena May began musically with classical piano lessons as a child in Winchester, VA. At university, she taught herself acoustic guitar. In the fall of 2012 Teena started songwriting in Brooklyn NY.  At an open mic in New Orleans, Spring 2022, she realized sharing her song stories is her true life path.

Teena May performs portions of her extensive Country, Folk and Americana song catalogue anywhere she is welcomed. Either solo, as a duo with a harmonica player or as a folk trio with fiddle and upright bass, Teena May is living her best life through song.
